What we do
The Addingtons Pre-school provides care and education for children from two to four years, 11 months.
The EYFS is the foundation of our provision and is delivered through our core values and ethos.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is the framework for all early years providers in England. The EYFS outlines the statutory requirements for providers to meet for the learning, development and care of children up to the age of five. The supporting document, Daevlopment Matters, identifies how settings can best meet the developmental needs of children in their earliest years.

Core Values and Ethos
We truly believe that everything a child encounters has a potential impact on learning and development. So at the The Addingtons Pre-School we pride ourselves on providing a learning environment and activities that foster curiosity and a passion for exploring and discovering.
We achieve this by putting significant consideration into the planning of our environment, activities, experiences and interactions.
We are fortunate to be a pack away setting, this allows us the freedom to change our learning environment as often as required to reflect the needs, interests and individual learning of our children.
Our continuous provision offers opportunities for role play, exploring maths, music and instruments, small world play, sensory exploration, enjoying books, mark making, creating, gross motor development and quiet time.
Our secure indoor and outdoor areas enable children to self initiate play and learning, with the open plan layout allowing for opportunities to play independently and in small and large groups.
